A kaolin clay cleanser or face mask will leave the skin feeling clean, soft and supple.

It can be mixed simply with water, or something with added nurturing properties such as herbal tea, honey or hydrosol.

In a small ceramic bowl or the palm of your hand, mix 1-2 teaspoons of clay with warm water, herbal tea or hydrosol until you reach a creamy consistency

With clean hands, massage onto damp skin for a minute or so then rinse off as a cleanser, or leave on for 5-10 minutes as a face mask

After gently rinsing off, mist the face with hydrosol and follow with oil or moisturiser

*For added benefits, add a small amount of honey to the clay mask
